The Gettysburg Observation Tower is a 307-feet tall observation deck located in Adams County, Pennsylvania. The tower was built in 1974 in order to provide visitors with panoramic views of the battlefield where the Battle of Gettysburg took place. Visitors can access the tower by climbing 186 stairs or taking the elevator to the top. At the observation deck, visitors can see the entire Gettysburg town and the landscape that saw the turning point of the Civil War, including the Devil's Den and Little Round Top. The tower is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm from April to November, and weekends during the winter months, and admission is required.
